COBB top mount intercooler kit greatly improves intercooler efficiency and flow in order to achieve a colder denser intake charge. Generate greater power levels while improving reliability. 30% air flow increase over stock intercooler. Includes thrust tunnel to maximize air flow from the hood duct through the intercooler core.
Top mounted intercoolers prioritize transient boost response by keeping volume low especially with smaller turbochargers (stock or very mild upgrade).
Built from a 15.75 x 9.65 x 3.94in Garrett bar and plate core with bespoke cast aluminum end tanks. This is the largest usable core for this application. Supplied with a reinforced passenger side mounting bracket to replace the stock piece and includes a vibration reducing rubber bushing. Available in black or silver.
