DBA4000 T3 Rear Brake Disc WRX w/ Brembo Conversion

ENHANCED BRAKING PERFORMANCE

These rotors are specifically designed for older applications converting to Brembo 2-pot rear calipers. These are 5-100 PCD (bolt circle) Brembo 2-pot rear dimension rotors with the smaller (non-Brembo) 170mm handbrake size.

DBA's 4000 series brake rotors are the most advanced one-piece rotor on the market providing exceptional performance under demanding trackday or spirited driving use.  High carbon steel alloy combined with thermal stability profiling (repeated heat treatment cycles to realign the iron microstructure) drastically improves the rotor's capacity to handle sustained extreme heat loads.  Their unique kangaroo paw vane design provides up to 20% better heat dissipation.  Friction surfaces are turned using CBN (Carbon Boron Nitride) tooling to reduced thickness variations and enhanced surface finish.

T3 discs are CNC slotted with a bi-directional pattern for LH and RH interchangeability.  Slotting provides a path for the evacuation of brake dust and gases generated by the brake pads further improving the consistency and effectiveness of every braking event and enhancing pedal feel and response.  T3 slot design increases the number of exit points for gas and dust while providing quieter operation compared to other slot patterns.  

Every DBA 4000 brake rotor utilizes painted non-friction surfaces for improved appearance and rust prevention and includes thermographic paint markings on the outer edge.  Thermographic paints are calibrated to change color at specific heat thresholds in order to allow for monitoring brake temperatures at the track.
