STI Motorsports Timing Belt & Water Pump Kit

Complete timing belt and water pump kit based around STI's reinforced timing belt and incorporating original equipment idler pulleys and tensioner for the highest level of quality and durability.  Supplied with a genuine Subaru closed-impeller water pump for maximum cooling performance.

STI's reinforced timing belt was developed using the same materials utilized for the timing belts in their WRC program.  It features low stretch, resistance to belt skip, and extreme temperature resistance.  Available with optional but highly recommended RCM billet timing belt guide for further belt skip resistance under extreme conditions.

For turbocharged DOHC EJ engine applications.  Includes timing belt, tensioner with pulley, 2 x large diameter smooth idlers, and cogged idler.  MY99+ applications include a small diameter smooth idler pulley (double row bearing type) and MY99-02 applications include the small pulley mounting bolt.  Water pump is supplied either in a 3-port configuration (for use with factory oil cooler) or in a 2-port configuration (for non-factory oil cooler applications). Water pump gasket and seals are included (not pictured). RCM timing belt guide optional. 

Fitment Note: The upper and lower large diameter smooth idler pulleys are both double-row type (with black dust shields) and is used in place of the factory single-row bearing type pulley (with orange dust shields) in the lower position.

For MY1996 to MY1997 applications please select the kit with the tensioner/tensioner pulley design that matches your original parts.  There is considerable overlap in the transition from the earlier to later design tensioner so these model year breaks are only rough guides.
