STI Hardened Rear Diff Front Member Bushing

RIGID DIFF MOUNTING

STI Group N rear diff front support member bushings use a firmer durometer rubber compound in order to better control rear differential movement and torque reactions.  These bushings are installed into the T-shaped crossmember that supports the front of the rear diff and are critical for controlling torque reactions.

Like most uprated mounts and bushings you should expect an increase in NVH making the car less comfortable to drive.

These bushings must be pressed in with force to install.  Requires professional installation and special tooling to avoid damaging the bushings or the housing.  RalliSpec can provide installation services.

Sold individually (two bushings are required per vehicle).   Two different bushing part numbers were used.  Earlier models (up to Jan. 2001 production date) used the same bushing for both RH and LH sides.  Later models changed the RH bushing making the bushing roughly 1/4in taller in height.
