STI Brembo Caliper Bolt M12x37
Replacement bolt for mounting the front Brembo caliper.
It is a very common issue for the bolt to become seized in the caliper and snap during removal. This seems to be specific to the Brembo front and rear calipers. The broken bolt may need to be drilled out and the threads restored by helicoil or timesert. We can provide this service if you bring or send your caliper to us for repair. If you attempt to drill out the bolt and the drill wanders off center the caliper may be damaged beyond repair. We use a CNC mill to perform this service.
It is recommended that the new bolts be heavily anti-seized prior to installation to make future removal easier.
