Front Pinion Front Support Bearing 6MT
Double row tapered roller bearing with 4-bolt flange. Bolts to center bearing support plate. For 6-speed TY856 applications.
This bearing supports high thrust loads from the hypoid gears and it is not uncommon for this bearing to require replacement. Always replace if the bearing feels rough or is noisy or shows signs of high temperatures. The bearing presses on to the front pinion shaft and is secured with a nut and lock washer (which are not considered re-usable). Shims between the bearing flange and the center plate adjust the pinion depth and may need to be adjusted when replacing this bearing.
