Timing Belt Guide Cam Sprocket
Timing belt guides help ensure the timing belt teeth remain engaged to the sprocket teeth even during sudden changes in engine speed. Cam sprocket guides were added in 3 locations (LH exhaust, RH intake, RH exhaust) starting in MY1999 DOHC applications (w/ Engine Serial #642153). Each guide is secured with two special loctited M6 allen bolts.
