Exhaust Mid Pipe Donut Gasket

Donut exhaust gasket with 60mm inside diameter.  This gasket seals the connection between the exhaust front section (or downipipe) and midpipe.  It is constructed of fiber reinforced compressed graphite and is intended to allow some relative movement.  The gasket installs onto a pipe extending from the front pipe's mating flange and the conical outer surface seals against the matching shape of the midpipe flange.

If connecting an aftermarket high performance downpipe with a stock midpipe, or a stock downpipe with an aftermarket cat-back system that uses a flat flange, you will require an adapter to allow the donut gasket to be fitted.  Trying to use a flat exhaust gasket in these cases will usually result in an exhaust leak and is not advised.

When installing make sure all contact surfaces are clean of any original gasket material.  Sometimes the original gasket is badly adhered to the flange and needs to be scraped or chipped off and wire-wheeled clean.
