Transfer Output Shaft Rear Roller Bearing 6MT

Tapered roller bearing supports the transfer driven (output) gear shaft. Bearing and race are sold as separate items (please select when ordering). This is the larger of the two support bearings for the transfer driven gear shaft. Bearing cone dimension is 30 x 20mm. Bearing race dimension is 62 x 17mm.

Always replace if the bearing feels rough or is noisy or shows signs of high temperatures.  The roller bearing (cone) presses on to the rear of the transfer driven (output) gear shaft.  The bearing race (cup) is a slip fit or light press fit into the transfer housing (rear transmission housing). Removing the race may require lightly heating the housing. A shim is used between the bearing race and housing to control the end float of the shaft.
