Baulk Ring (Synchro) TY856 6MT
This baulk ring is a single cone synchronizer used for 4th, 5th, and 6th gears.
A worn synchronizer will result in a crunchy or grinding shift which may be more pronounced when the oil is warm. Subaru transmissions are very finicky when it comes to gear oil selection. Synchro performance and life is highly dependent on the characteristics of the oil.
Sold individually (Order one for each gear 4th, 5th, or 6th).
