Genuine Subaru nitride hardened and double cross-drilled crankshaft. Factory spec JDM EJ207 Version 8 and newer (MY03-20). 75mm stroke length.
Nitriding is a surface hardening heat treatment process that improves the metal's wear resistance, fatigue strength, and corrosion resistance by diffusing nitrogen into the surface to form nitrides. The characteristic black surface color indicates that it has been nitrided. The journal surfaces are finish ground after the treatment.
