Transmission Oil Pump Cover TY856 6MT
The cast iron oil pump cover is used on oil pump-equipped transmission applications (MY01-early MY07). It is secured with a series of torx bolts and serves to resist the rear thrust loads of the drive and driven shafts. Drilled passages direct oil from the oil pump into the ends of the gear shafts for bearing lubrication.
